Plans Plus was founded in March, 1998 as an architectural design and drafting company. In August 1998, the affiliation with Konstantin Ashkinadze, P.Eng., Consulting Engineer was formed, which allowed us to provide engineering services to the public in addition to the design and drafting services. Plans Plus currently holds APEGGA corporate Permit to Practice No. P08520.

Plans Plus continues the business lineage of BROWN ENGINEERING where its specialists were previously employed. This company, in business since mid-70s, was a recognized expert in residential and commercial construction, design and consulting. Taking preserved wood foundations alone, Brown Engineering was involved in the design and assessment of more than 5000 units in Alberta.

Over the past 10 years, Plans Plus successfully undertook in more than 500 projects, including highly complicated house renovations and additions, foundation rehabilitation, commercial designs and new residential construction — from modern structural panels and insulated concrete form to rustic straw bale and log construction.
